Vege Creek

Taiwan’s second largest vegan restaurant chain (after Loving Hut), Vege Creek is a popular build-your-own noodle cafe with seven outlets across the city. We’ve been told its flagship branch in Yanji Street, is the best.
Choose all your ingredients and the staff will then cook everything together in a delicious, clean and simple broth brew of Chinese medicinal herbs, salt and pepper.
There’s no monosodium glutamate, fat, or oil – just pure bliss.

Mianto

A quaint vegan haven that hits that scores high marks with herbivores, Mianto is an award-winning international eatery with strong Italian influences that sources the best natural non-GMO ingredients.
It serves lunch, afternoon and dinner offerings and some of the best imported organic soya milk for your latte.
Be sure to order a cup with some vegan waffles and ice cream.

Taipei has some good vegan options, but Plants – with its gorgeous cafe and Instagrammable offerings – really raises the bar with delicious and nourishing foods.

One of the newer vegetarian restaurants in the city, DeliSoys is a wonderful addition to Da’an District’s dining scene, offering extensive organic soya-based products.
From tomato-flavoured tofu skin to unsweetened organic soya milk (yum!), there is also the option to buy organic tofu blocks before you leave.
With plenty of seating set in a trendy modern atmosphere, the breakfast menu differs from the offerings served for lunch and dinner, so you might want to go there more than once!
